Rich History, Current Success, & Bright Futures

Greetings,

Thank you Hardin-Central school district for asking me to be a part of such a great school district and allowing me to lead a school with such rich history in academics and extra curricular activities. I am happy to experience the current success of many students and organizations and look forward to the accomplishments that await each of us as we witness our students accomplishing the goals which will provide for their very bright futures.

I have enjoyed the first quarter of the school year and appreciate the work ethic and overall culture of the Hardin-Central school system. This is a testament to the parents, teachers, coaches, organizational leaders and the community in which our students reside. Thank you to each and every person who has played a role in developing such a great learning community. I  would like to celebrate our rich history, current success's and the bright futures ahead by publishing pictures and covering events in the lives of our present students and past graduates. I encourage community members who may have news or pictures of Hardin-Central graduates to email information to me at the high school.

Thank you for your continued support,

Zachary Danner

Academic Ambitions and Community Connections

As we have wrapped up our first semester of school and attempted to navigate through our cold start to second semester I continue to be impressed with our students. Hardin-Central students continue to display a work ethic in their academic studies and a compassion for others through our many community connections activities that should make each of us proud. Thank you to our students who continue to put the extra time in to excel in the classroom and our community.

We continue to average more than 20 students who attend formal work sessions with staff before school and several others who put additional time in before and after school with peer tutors. Many Juniors and Seniors have been busy touring, researching and applying to numerous colleges, technical schools, training programs, career fields, and branches of the military. While I am proud of their efforts in the classroom, I am also very proud of the work done through community outreach programs such as caroling for the holidays at Shirkey's, Farmer Appreciation week, Harvesters work, food and school supply drives, FCCLA blood drives, #Be the first initiative, Ronald McDonald House and what seems to be countless other opportunities our student participates in to help not only our community but others throughout the country.

Thank you again Hardin-Central for allowing me to be a part of such a great school.
